Goed Zuur means “Good Acid” in Dutch, which describes the concept of this bar located in our award winning 2801 Welton building. This one-of-a-kind bar features sour beers and Charcuterie.

Studio K2 was honored to be selected to help John Fayman and Anthony Lopiccolo make this bar come to life. We were tasked to bring a steampunk mixed with industrial chic feel to a 120 year old building that we helped renovate with Star Mesa Properties in 2015.

The intimate 2,500 square foot space has a central bar with a custom tap tower and a chefs bar in the back corner. The space uses copper, wood flooring, the color black, and industrial looking light fixtures to help capture the unique essence of the built environment. As one enters the space, their eye is drawn to the feature wall made up of a clock surrounded by a swirl of aged barn wood. Additionally, there is a 1,000 square foot basement with a Keg refrigerator and a Keg Elevator.

Studio K2 took our studio to “Art Back into Architecture” Sketch Days at Goed Zuur to enjoy the fruit of our labor and great beverages from our fine hosts. (To see our Sketches check out our blog!)
